Myself, Morgan Fisher,Blue Weaver and John Fiddler held this event just around the corner from the Hammersmith Apollo, to coincide with the Mott The Hoople reunion. Words by Jeff Ward. Pictures by Barrie Wentzell. One of a series of articles called 'Band Breakdown' that appeared in the sadly defunct Melody Maker in the early 70s. We did the interviews in the short gap between arriving back from a US tour on Nov 5th and starting a UK tour on Nov 12th. I've had to chop the double page spread into small sections. This has led to some very different type sizes, but it should all be legible - with a bit of zooming in and out.
